• Teams can have 1–4 members
• All work must be done during the hackathon period
• Participants must submit a working prototype ( Hackathon ) or concept (Pitch-a-thon)
• Each team must present their prototype / concept on the final pitch day
• Respectful and fair participation is expected from all participants

EGN Build-a-thon 2026 is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants, sponsors, and volunteers.
All attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
Participants are expected to:
- Collaborate respectfully and fairly
- Avoid plagiarism or misrepresentation of work
- Follow event rules and deadlines
- Respect other teams, organizers, and judges
Sponsors and mentors are expected to:
- Engage respectfully with participants
- Provide fair and unbiased guidance
- Avoid any form of exploitation or unfair advantage
Volunteers and organizers are expected to:
- Act professionally and support all participants equally
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- Address concerns promptly and fairly
Any violation of this code may result in warnings, disqualification, or removal from the event.
If you experience or witness any inappropriate behavior, please report it to the organizing team immediately.
By participating in this event, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.
The organizing team reserves the right to make final decisions on any disputes.
